Events Schedule

Friday May 9th

Participants should plan on arriving anytime after 12 pm. A welcome reception at each lodge will be held from 5–7pm this will include snacks; fruit and cheese display, chips and salsa etc. and non alcoholic drinks. There will be several dining establishments available throughout the evening, with-in walking distance as well as a local cab working on gratuity basis only. The Lodge at Mount Snow will offer live entertainment as well as a pub menu and a full bar. Other entertainment will be provided at the West Dover Inn with a musical performer, open bar and pub fare.

Dinner will be at the discretion of the clubs or groups with the restaurants listed below. The lodging establishments can take it upon themselves to offer dinner on Friday in agreements with the Motorcycle clubs.

Saturday May 10th

A full breakfast will be served at each lodging facility between 7:30 and 9:30am.
There will be several pre-planned rides ranging from 100 to 150 miles available with maps and directions, allowing the participants to be back in Wilmington VT for the start of the Poker-run.

3pm - the Poker-run and silent auction will commence. There will be 7 stops each with decks to draw from, so that we will play a 7 card stud with two cards being discards. At each participating stop there will be complementary soft drinks and coffee available.
The poker-run stops will all have items on display for the silent auction, for participants to bid on. The silent auction and poker-run will end at 5:30 and results of both will be announced at the dinner at the Silo Restaurant. Gate City HOG members will be on hand at each stop to facilitate the poker game and encourage bidding for silent auction items.

The Silo will be the last stop on the poker-run and the place of the evening dinner and entertainment.

Dinner Saturday Evening:
The Silo will begin the evening reception at 6pm with dinner at 7pm. During the reception a live auction will be held and the poker winner announced. Following the 3 course meal a band will be performing until 2am. Results of fundraising will be announced during dinner.

Valley Cab Service; will provide a complementary taxi service for the evening working only for gratuities.

Sunday May 11th

A full breakfast will be served at each lodging facility between 7:30 and 9:30am.
All lodges will offer 4pm late check-out to enable visitors to make the most of our great riding roads. Maps and pre-planned routes will be available for people to choose from for a leisurely ride before heading home.

Texas Hold 'em tournament

The 2nd annual 5k Texas Hold 'Em Tournament sponsored by the Mount Snow Valley Chamber of Commerce will be held on February 2nd at the Grand Summit Resort at Mount Snow. The tournament begins at 7pm when a $100 buy in will give card players the chance to go home with five thousand dollars.Participation is limited to 100 players and the games will continue until one player wins the entire pot.

Robson, Texas is officially recognized as the birthplace of Texas hold 'em by The State Legislatures of Texas. The game was introduced to Las Vegas in 1967 by a group of Texan gamblers and this past decade has seen a surge in the games popularity. Texas hold 'em is a variant of poker in which each player receives only two cards called pocket cards. Players make the best poker hand out of their pocket cards and five community cards.

The Mount Snow Valley Chamber of Commerce serves businesses in the Mount Snow region of Southern Vermont including the towns of Wilmington, Dover, Whitingham and Marlboro.
