Economic Development Planner position open in Southern Vermont

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLANNER

Two small, rural, resort, southern Vermont communities’ jointly hiring full-time economic development planner. Following three years of community involvement, including developing with Mullin Associates a strategic economic development plan, Dover and Wilmington need experienced proactive leader to invigorate and transform the Deerfield Valley economy and show tangible benefits to both towns. Degree in planning, public administration, resource management, or a related field; with five (5) + years of progressively responsible economic planning experience in similar situation; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
